Our Story
Preserving Local History In A Historical Building
Railway North Social House
Originally built in 1913 as one of the first six Massey Harris dealerships specializing in high-grade farming machinery, the building has served as several businesses over the decades including MacDonald Consolidated, a high-end art gallery & multiple hospitality ventures with the latest being Railway North Social House.
From the start, Mike Bailey, founder of Railway North Social House, had the vision of restoring the historic building to its original form to create a modern multi-purpose venue that would bring people together for good food & great memories.
The original Douglas Fir floors and ceilings throughout, breathtaking original brickwork, and modern-styled concrete bar tops tie together an aesthetic that honours the history of the building while ushering in a new era of food and beverage service in Swift Current Saskatchewan.
